Each book is one that I found interesting. I own these so they are the only ones included here; I am sure there are many more worthy of interest. A few of these books have been published several times and re-copyrighted (all the copies I have are in paperback); the year shown below is the initial date of publication, not the latest.

I have discovered that there is a web site about Alan Watts: Alan Watts, including several writings. Here is his wiki entry.
Some time ago, a reader of my web site pointed out that an article published by Alan Watts in 1973 was available on the web. However, a few months later the link was no longer valid. Here is a copy of that 1973 article that was given to me: The World's Most Dangerous Book.
There are also books that are religion related and so they could be in this list. Since those books are about both political history and religion (for example, The Reformation) they are listed on my page of political books.
