Gravitational Waves

Any story that assumes gravitational waves were discovered starts with an invalid assumption. That discovery announcement provided huge media coverage, even the 2017 Physics Nobel Prize, but among scientists it still remains unconfirmed.

attached is a story indicating an ongoing debate about whether there really is a valid small signal buried in substantial noise. The team involved in the big announcement has not been so cooperative with those investigating the data.
