Sun Sound Waves
In the Face Book group: The post was about sound waves below the surface of the Sun. My comment:
Sun sound waves
I am suspicious whether Northumbria knows how to convey a discovery. 'boiling[hot] hydrogen would be plasma and if it moves as a current then it would generate a magnetic field.; I don't know how a magnetic field can be churned. If 'sound waves' is the desired term then I should assume the frequency noted is in the 10 hz to 20khz range. Why say the signal is a sound? Do they want everyone to ponder the famous philosophical question?
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"
I suspect there is no one on the sun to hear it!
